Cancellation & Refund Policy

Welcome to Pre-Inspection Clinic Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Same-Day Bookings
Non-refundable.
Inspector preparation and scheduling begins immediately.
Exception:
If cancelled within 1 hour of booking AND before the inspector begins travelling, 50% refund may be issued if no disruption is caused.
Bookings Made Within 24 Hours
Any booking made within 24 hours of the appointment time is non-refundable.
Online Booking Platform Fee (15%)
When booking online, a 15% booking system fee is automatically charged.
This fee is:

paid to a third-party system

non-refundable under all circumstances
If we issue a refund, the 15% is deducted automatically.
Inspector Travel
Once the inspector has left, no refund can be issued.
Booking Changes and Refund Eligibility
Customers may request amendments to their booking while the booking remains active with us. Once a booking has been amended, rescheduled, or otherwise changed from the original booking details, the 24-hour cancellation and refund period will no longer apply.
If a customer cancels a booking after an amendment has been made, we reserve the right to retain part or all of the booking fee to cover costs already incurred, including administrative work, scheduling, inspector allocation, and other expenses directly associated with the booking.
The amount retained will depend on the circumstances of the booking and the costs incurred at the time of cancellation. In many cases, customers may lose more than 50% of the booking fee, and in some cases the full booking fee may be retained where the costs incurred justify this.
Refunds, credits, or amendments are only available while the booking remains active with us. Once a booking has been cancelled, any entitlement to a refund, credit, or further amendment will normally cease.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund, partial refund, credit, or other accommodation as a gesture of goodwill in exceptional circumstances. Any goodwill gesture is entirely voluntary and does not create an obligation or precedent for future bookings.

Nothing in these terms affects or limits any rights that customers may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

We will always seek to apply our cancellation and refund policy fairly and reasonably, taking into account the costs incurred and the circumstances of each booking.
Chain-Effect Scheduling
Our daily schedule is a chain of appointments.
One last-minute cancellation disrupts every appointment after it.
Discretion Clause
We may offer goodwill refunds, but these are not guaranteed.
